Is anyone collecting the new Marvel trading cards by Fleer?

I'm not, but my cousin is a huge Marvel fan and he has the original 2 series issued back in the day...he's spent the better part of the last 2 weeks trying to find these to no avail..but he did see the ebay and retail prices on them, which are ridiculous!

I guess they're packed with sketches, metallic painted, autographs and vintage style throwback cards...but for $179.00 per box is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of for trading cards!

I wasn't even aware they made these. These look awesome. I love the throwback cards but I agree. The prices on these are pretty high. Some of the metallic cards like Cage are going for $500+. It was a nice thought but out of my price range.
