B:TAS and other things from DCC

This line is known for its creative and often comic artist influenced sculpts featuring a figure catalog that spans from the Golden Age of DC Comics to the modern New 52. No era is off limits!

Sadly that's probably going to be tougher to find than the extra hundred bucks. LOL.

BBTS has the Batmobile for preorder at $84.99 which I just ordered. I figure it will be a lot easier to order from there than ever finding in a comic shop.

Being closer to China, the Australians have already gotten Wave 2. Here are a couple pics of the Joker borrowed from fab.gueli over on the fwoosh forums.

I really like that they took the time to fix the fragility issue of the joints on the second wave, and eliminated the visible peg holes on the hips.

Picked up the B:TAS Robin today--solid figure. Zero problems with it. Since I now have a Batman and a Robin, this is my stopping off point, despite how grand this line is looking. It's about 20 years too late for me.

Joker really looks best in profile. For some reason, I'm finding the translation between prototype and production figure even more disappointing than usual.

(Yes, I realize the head of the production figure is at a different angle in the Toyark photo than that of the prototype in the top photo. I own this figure, and tilting the head downward does not make it look better or really even closer, for that matter.)
