Probably old news to most of you, but just read that Blue Beetle and Booster Gold are returning. They'll be coming to Justice League 3000 which is written by J.M. DeMatteis and Keith Giffen. The team that brought you JLI (the series that gave life to their budding friendship) and Formerly Known As the Justice League! This is THE Blue Beetle and Booster Gold before Blue Beetle got his head blasted by Maxwell Lord. I haven't read JL3000 but I think I have a reason to now! Full article below.

But can they bring the rest of the Pre-New 52 with them? Otherwise, not as excited.

It's exciting and new news to me, however reading that article is also a tad bit confusing to me, too. Probably because I've never read or heard of JL3000. I should probably get on that, too.

Ha I was thinking the same thing, packer, but perhaps Pre-New 52 will retake the DC Universe a couple characters at a time.

I am definitely going to pick up a few issues of Justice League 3000 after reading that article. If I like the stories, maybe this can be my JLA book for now. I dropped all the rest.

The first issue was a mess, so I'd be interested to hear if it got any better. Reading the synopsis of what the JL3000 are doesn't make me hopeful.

It kind of dampens my spirits to see common disappointment in JL3000 (also, love the review OneNineSix!) but I hope that doesn't make the return of Blue Beetle and Booster Gold (pre-New 52) disappointing. I'd love to see more storyline that's, well, before New 52 came along. But you know. . . New.
