Sorry to hear about your Dad, Olds. It really sucks loosing your Dad, since I can relate. I lost my Dad, in September, last year. I still miss him everyday, and even have dreams with both him & my Mother in them. Mom has been gone over 7 years. They may be gone, but they'll ALWAYS be in your heart!
Great custom Cap'n, too. The little details bring out the intricate sculpt of the figure.

Iron Fist and a Updated Iron Fist

This is an older custom of Iron Fist was made with some parts swapping with Black Panther to make my Black Panther taller and Iron Fist shorter. I swapped the shoulders and upper legs with series 10 Black Panther, the lower legs are from a broken Giant Man series Thor, and the rest of the parts are from series 12 Iron Fist. I removed the collar and re-sculpted the chest for a more modern look. I think I will end up adding a little darker wash on the legs to bring out the details a little better on the wraps.

This was a quick little repaint that I did this weekend to my earlier Iron Fist custom. I decided to pull him off the shelf when I was straighten up my collection, and thought I would give him a little TLC.

So do you think that this was a successful update?

Very successful update! Luke and Danny would make such a great movie vehicle, your customs make me yearn for the reality.

Avengers Captain America

This was a nice little commissioned piece. It's a basic repaint of the Avengers Captain America figure that I also fitted and repainted an unmasked head from the Stealth Suit Captain America. When I received the figure from the commissioner it already had a nice heavy black wash applied to it, so I used that as my base dark coat and then layered it with dry brushing three shades of blue over the dark wash. Put the masked head on my cap for a nice side by side comparison.

The only problem now is that I'm going to have to detail the face on mine.
