Thanks  There is so much great sculpting on a lot of these figures that gets lost being molded in single color plastic. It's a shame really with all the work the designers put into the sculpts to have it lost with flat solid colors.

This is a commissioned piece for a fellow member over at the Fwoosh boards "The Amazing Spidey-Fan". He sent me one of Glassman's shrunken Agent Coulson Hot Toys heads, and a DCUC suited body. So all that I needed to do was fit the head to the body, paint the head, and flesh-tones on the neck and hands. So what do you all think does it look like Clark Gregg?

This was a quick little mod that that I decided to do to one of my extra Marvel Legends Infinite Series Black Cat figures. I swapped out the heels for some flats that I bought from casting cave, and I did a little repainting. What do you all think?

Wow, man, these look terrific. You've done an amazing job yet again. I especially love the way that Coulson looks. That's so realistic, it's eerie!

Nice work on the face, man. The nice thing about DCUC is that they don't have that realistic wash like ML's do. Makes painting customs a lot less challenging to blend in. Real nice work, though.

Black Cat is an improvement, fun figure to work with, they really brought the curves.
Agent Coulson is really very cool. I have never been big on the civilian characters, but they did such a great job with him in the Avengers movie that it's hard to imagine that they wouldn't make him. Kinda like making three different Caps for the Infinite Series and not making the Falcon...doh!

Thanks  I started using a technique that I use to use on black and white drawings for the faces just at a much smaller scale. I bought some .005 prismacolor art pens and use them like charcoal pencils for shading and I use a toothpick as a blending stick. I'm really liking the results. With every custom I try to learn, and improve my painting skills.

Thank you very much

Thanks, and yeah I would love for them to make more figures of supporting characters like Coulson and Falcon. Those two alone you think would have been no brainers, but alas no we didn't get them :smsad:

Olds, I must say your the MVP of customizing pal...and your paints are spectacular. Coulson is the best one I have seen thus far.

EXCELLENT job, Olds!!!! The head of your Coulson is one of the best painted ones I've seen yet! Do you know what colors of Prismacolor markers you used on his face/head? Did you use them for just the shading to bring out the features of his face or did you use them on his eyebrows, eyelashes, etc? My Coulson head should be coming, in the mail, any day now.

I have his photo ID made and clipped on his jacket. I even made him a set of tiny Captain America trading cards. Each card has a front and back. There's even a bloody and un-bloody #4 card. The cards fit inside of a 1"x1" square on my cutting mat. Can't wait to finish him!
