These are a couple of little figures that I made for my nephews.

First is the original Deadpool that I made for my youngest nephew back when I first started customizing. It's a little crude, but I was still learning at the time.

Next is a re-vamp/rebuild of the old one the first one I made after that my skill level has improved. I wanted to re-do this one for him. Deadpool started out as a Wal-Mart reissue Silver Surfer with a ML Series 6 Deadpool head cast from Casting Cave. I also swapped out the forearms/hands from a Mr. Fantastic from fodder box. The belt is from a LCBH Super Patriot. I used Jonah Hex's bandoleer, Hit Monkey's pistols, ROML Deadpool sword, holsters from some cheap figures from Big Lots, and I used styrene strips for the straps. Then I finished him off with a full paint job.

My oldest nephew was wanting a red Deadpool as well. This is of course is just a repaint of the X-Force Deadpool, but with a little difference. I made a new bandoleer/chest/bullet strap for him using a DCUC Jonah Hex bandoleer. I then made a sword sheath using styrene and rubber bands. The sword was from my fodder bin I think it was part of a ML base.

The Thing

This was the very first Custom action figure that I ever made. I saw several customs of the Thing using this recipe over on figure realm, and I really wanted to try to make one myself. Before this figure all I've ever worked on was kitbashing Transformers and building model cars this was my first attempt at customizing an action figure. The only paint work that I did on this figure was to apply a wash to help make the parts match up.

Recipe:
Head, upper, and mid torso ML Series 2 Thing,
Arms, Legs, and Waist Thunder Launch Thing.

Doctor Strange
This was a fun learning experience. First off I didn't like how short the Marvel Legends Doctor Strange was, so I had make him taller. For his new waist and legs I used parts from a DCUC wave 7 Blue Beetle. To make them fit under Dr. Strange's shirt I had to use my dremel tool to grind down the DCUC waist. I also used my dremel to grind down the inside of his biceps to make his arms sit more flush against his torso.
