Next up is Adam Warlock. Adam is a pretty simple custom. Mostly some simple parts swapping and a little paint, but I think he turned out pretty good :)

Recipe:
Marvel Legends Adam Warlock head, cape, staff, and hands.
Power Ring upper torso, lower torso, right forearm, and shins.
Johnny Quick biceps & upper legs.
Superman feet.
Dr. Midnight left forearm.

Excellent. I love your conversions to the DCUC bodies which I think look superior to most of ML's.

Thanks :) The DCUC bodies work great for a lot Marvel characters. Two of my very first customs were Cyclops (Astonishing Costume) & Angel using DCUC bodies and they are still two of my favorites.

Angel
This was a fun project, and I think it was maybe the third custom that I made. I started it around the same time as my Cyclops, but angle took a little longer to complete. The Recipe is shoulders, mid and upper torso, and feet DCUC wave 7 Blue Beetle, waist and legs DCUC Black Hand, hands DCUC blue camo suit Aquaman, biceps and forearms DCUC Eclipso, and finally Head and wings from ML Angel.

Wowee! I love those. The thin lines on Cyclop's body were probably quite a bit of work and the halo log on Angel's chest! I really like that Namor and X23 also! That's Super Woman's head?

Yeah I made sure that I didn't have any caffeine in my system when I painted those lines :) For the halo I created it in Photoshop and printed it on label paper, and carefully cut it out. Then after a top coat to seal it you can't even tell it was a label. That is indeed Super Woman's head on X-23 and the base body is DCUC Star Saphire with X-23's hair, arms, knees, lower legs, and feet. I'm actually giving her a little touch up right now.

Like that X-23. Gah, the Toy Biz version is one of the worst, ugliest figures of all time.

you are absolutely right about Angel's halo, cannot tell it is a label, fantastic work.

Olds, these customs are AWESOME!! Man, your paintwork is fantastic. What kind of metallic paint are you using? Also, how did you do the "piping" on Cyke's costume? A pen? I've tried that and not gotten nearly as good results as you did. Anyway, great freaking work, man.
