It's easily my least favorite of the 3 CW shows but I'm willing to give it the season to find it's feet.

How hard is it to get rid of Savage? Just put him in a rocket and launch it to the sun and poof... no more Vandal, no DNA left behind to resurrect himself from etc... I like the show enough to keep watching. They just need a little push in the right direction. And yes I think Routh should have been Ted Kord, would have been much better

I actually like it well enough but I've been wishing Palmer was Kord since the beginning. Aside from now finally shrinking, he's not even remotely Ray or the Atom. He's definitely Ted. According to a lot of news articles, DC was going to use Kord for something "big" so they gave them Palmer instead and it's now two years and counting. Where's Ted Kord? To add further confusion, Kord Industries is constantly mentioned in Arrow and Ray was mentioned twice along with Jean. Jean Loring later appeared as Moira's lawyer but then Ray appeared and his fiancée was named Anna (recently revealed to be named Anna Loring). That's just weird stuff that didn't have to happen. :smsmh: Not to mention they blew a great chance for onscreen chemistry between Blue and Gold. :bgthumbs:

100% agreed it would have been so much better if he was Ted. Now he seems more like fusion of Ted/Blue Bettle and Booster.

That makes me sad :smsad:

How's everyone liking the show?

I stopped watching it after 4th or 5th show because I just find Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter too much a bossy guy that really gets on my nerves at times and I just don't like the character of the way they portrayed him. Caity Lotz as Sara Lance / White Canary is not to my liking and I just find her not my cup of tea and I have a hard time understanding her character because it's confuses me with the Black Canary. I've never, ever heard of the White Canary until this show came out. To me, Caity Lotz is a newcomer to me and I just find her pretty much non-existence.

Franz Drameh as Jefferson Jackson / Firestorm is a virtual unknown to me and I wished he acted better and having said that I just don't find him not my cup of tea.

It's ok if a little bit too formulaic. Honestly, one of my pet peeves when I got out of comics a couple of years ago was the overuse of time-travel/alternate reality storylines. Everyone was doing it, the X-titles had the young X-men come to the future, the Avengers were in an alternate reality where Kang's kids conquered the world, Teen Titans had their older selves, Flashpoint, Convergence, Spider-man Spider-verse, Secret Wars; it's such a tired plot device that I wish the big two would put a moratorium on it. Even now I look at current books and the X-men are in the future facing Apocalypse. So a TV show about time travel isn't all that appealing to me, especially when they're taking an extreme amount of liberty with characters and their histories way more than any of the other CW shows.

I couldn't agree more with Doctor Fate and PB!

I don't like the show's casting at all. The only actors that I am able to tolerate play Professor Stein and Vandal Savage.

Forever ban the time-travel/alternate reality storylines and I would like to get a respite on the recent hero vs. hero ones as well.

Well, the JSA certainly peaked my interest.

Daredevil is, hands down, the best show ever. I am now starting to watch Jessica Jones.
