New Image of the set.
Looks like the rumors were true, there will be a Guardians of the Galaxy Marvel Legends 5 pack, and it’s an Entertainment Earth exclusive! The 5 pack contains Star Lord, Rocket Raccoon, Drax the Destroyer, Gamora and Groot. As an added bonus, there will be an additional Baby Groot in Pot accessory. They are all in comic version get ups. Groot looks to be based of the GoTG movie Build a Figure from last year, with a new head sculpt. Check out the pic below and head on over to

Entertainment Earth: Exclusive Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy Set Packaged Pictures
Well, well, well — look at what is floating around out there in internet lands! The very much anticipated Entertainment Earth exclusive Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy set is coming this summer, and now we have some packaged pictures!
So, here are the pictures, and I have to say, the box art looks really nice. What do you think? Hopefully we will be able to see some production shots of the figures soon. Woo! We are finally getting the team in the classic comic style. Can’t wait!

It looks like Gamora will actually have a better cape now, and the ugly cloth poncho is just there to hide skimpy outfit. They even covered up her outfit on the box art.

What I don't understand is why two heads for Gamora, they basically look the same other than mouth open/closed and a slightly different hairstyle. I think this set would have been a real winner if Rocket was completely retooled to have a posable lower torso, either the BaF or movie version would have been nice to have posable.

One of the Gamora heads is suppose to have a hood and the other doesn't.

Even though I already have versions of most of them I'm still very happy with this set. This is the Groot I wanted. And all the extra accessories add to the value. Very nice. Just a shame they put this out now while the SDCC exclusives are out and multiple recent ML waves showing up. My wallet is taking a beating this summer.
