Action Figure Census

Hi gang,

Thought I'd start a new thread about the size of our collections...cuz we know it's all about size!

I saw on You Tube that there's a Star Wars collector that has over 35,000 pieces in his house! This got me thinking about collectors in general and the quantity of their collections.

My collection (as I'm sure some of you have seen the most recent pics of the Swamp 2.0) has a population of 1,820 figures on display, both loose and carded, as of today; spanning the entire basement.

I have nearly nowhere to go with anything new...I'm not a huge fan of hanging carded figs all over the place (for me anyways). And now that I have 2 speeders that take up decent real estate, it'll be worse.

All my interests are represented and I don't want to put any away in the back 40...because "those that has the most toys when they die, still dies"...not sure what else to do I guess

Ok, rant over....where are your collections at?

If you want to write down every single figure, that's up to you! Haha

I was merely asking the quantity in everyone's collection...can't wait to hear

I can't even fathom counting my figures. I know I have a near complete G1 Transformers collection, complete DC Universe Classics except for the last two waves that just came out with King Shark and the Rookie, a complete MOTU Classics collection, a near complete Marvel Universe 3.75" collection, a complete GI Joe 50th Anniversary/30th Anniversary collection and a near complete WWF Legends/Throwback collection from Mattel. I have some other figures from other stuff as well like TMNT and some older stuff from original MOTU and random stuff like M.U.S.C.L.E., etc.

Space is always an issue and most of my collection unfortunately sits in bins and boxes. The day will come where I'll need to downsize.

I'm very interested in what's in everyone's collections. Neat thread! Thanks for taking the time to share, you guys!

This would take me a week to itemize, but I have nearly all DCUC (and the sub-lines) figures; a very healthy smattering of Marvel Legends; large Superman and Batman figure collections (over 100 each); most of the Palasades Muppets figures and sets; Super Powers sets and figures (missing only Cyborg, Darkseid's Destroyer and the Justice Jogger); nearly all Star Wars Black Series; about 3/4 of the original Kenner SW line with a bunch of vehicles; a decent Transformers collection; a respectable dose of Marvel Select and DC Direct/Collectibles; some Tick figures; a platoon of GI Joes, with a bunch of odds and ends thrown in to season the pot.

It's come in this Box

I'm getting two of them, one for open and one for display ... I got a 2 for 1 deal with my LCS - a special and it's being mailed at my home.

And, this one too.

I just ordered it and this box is not to be meant to be opened too.
