Oh my God! It's the Karl Gotch of wrestling sections, step inside to catch all the latest on everything else from the defunct to Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes to Rip Rogers, the Nature Boy to the Natural Born Thrillers to the National Treasure. Vince Russo says, bro, this is the place to be, bro.
Oh I loved Bastion Booger, I thought he was so hilarious but more on that in in a moment. Killer Kross, a great talent and so underused
Okay, so now follow Me here as the late great Mike Shaw has landed in the WWF in the crucial year of 1993. Without no hype, no vignettes, no nothing as he just appeared on a great early episode of Monday Night Raw as FRIAR FERGUSON I was like who the heck is this then I knew it was Norman the Lunatic from WCW Now this was the only time he was as this gimmick which is such a shame because I really liked it. It was cool how he had Monk written on the tablet around his neck and that he had his holy water and his naughty wrestling tactics. Unfortunately, this video is cut short as you don't see a lot of the action. He went against Chris Duffy. The fans liked him especially the kids and they wanted to drink his Holy Water and so to please them he squirted it in their mouths, and they were thrilled
So unfortunately, that was the only time he got it on with Bam Bam Bigelow and the feud never happen What a darn shame he only had one appearance as Friar Ferguson A while later he was repackaged as Bastian Booger with no hype... he's a 400-pound super-slob to gross out the strongest of stomachs Here he is as Bobby "The Brain" Heenan interviews him as Booger wants it RAW
Here he is backstage...
and here's The Booger-Man in this promo
Now Mike Shaw has had many gimmicks throughout his unique career but these that I posted to Me are his most memorable. Head on over to the Themes Topic as I will continue with more of Ferguson & Booker that sounds scary
The Past isn't a Wilderness of Horrors - We Grow Old Because We Stop Playing - DTA - If it's been done in a movie, then most likely it's already been done in Real Life - ALWAYS Watch the Skies - Question Everything, FTW! = Me + Various <-->
Don't miss out of Friar Gerguson & Bastion Booger from yesterday. Okay, here's these promos of Mortis

Ugh, that Bastian Booger stuff just wreaks of Vince, lol. Then I watched Mortis, and I was like, I wish he would talk more than his manager, and then he spoke at the end and it just wasn't good. He needed to sound more menacing and ethereal. I guess that's also why it didn't get over.
"Somewhere in a lonely hotel room, there's a guy starting to realize that eternal fate has turned its back on him. It's 2 AM."
I thought Booger was hilarious. You could be right there PB about Mortis. Great Raven promo. The Raven & Tommy Dreamer feud was arguably the best wrestling feud of the 90s
Okay, so I posted The KISS Demon in the Themes Topic, now here's this special that was on ESPN. The man that plays the Demon is Baseball talent Dale Torborg whom is the son of Jeff Torborg. This was quite big for Me back then since 99 was a super great year in Baseball and yes that's Kevin Millar & Ryan Dempster when Baseball was pure fun Make sure you see the Themes Topic because I'm going to continue Dale with his Baseball MVP persona after he was The KISS Demon

I think one of WCWs biggest problems around that time is that they were trying to appeal to too many different kinds of people instead of focusing on their core fans. I think AEW has the opposite problem sometimes of being so determined to pop their own fans that they forget the casual viewer may not know or care about ROH or NJPW or Deathmatch wrestling. I don't know. I just think WCW tried to pull in too many groups and ended up losing most wrestling fans to the WWF who knew what their Attitude Era fanbase was and gave them what they wanted.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN It's very possible, there's been so many theories over time why WCW went under Mordecai had such potential. Amazing how Kevin Thorn went from religious zealot to vampire
So, to top off Halloween off here is all of this great stuff of when The Warrior & Hollywood Hogan collided in WCW in 1998
I couldn't find the moment when The Renegade was Warrior's doppelganger/double but here's Warrior's entrance at War Games
And then it all came down to this
It may haven't been the best match but hey, it actually happen, it was exciting & fun and that's all-what counts

I remember watching these at my buddies apartment. We would play poker and drink beers, so we made fun of a lot of the melodrama in WCW at the time. I thought Warrior coming back was kind of neat, but at the same time, there was something about WCW. I think because the main stars all came from 80s wrestling there was a style of promo to stay more PG for families, so this felt kind of lame compared to what we would see on Raw. And being 20, it was much easier to connect and be attracted to the WWF product. And then like a lot of things WCW did back then, the story was kind of ruined because Hogan won.
Short promo at the end here...
