I'm hoping this is the Batman cartoon that preceded Super Friends.

I believe it was Filmation, but not to be confused w/ The New Adventures Batman (also produced by Fimmation). TNAOBM actually had Adam West and Burt Ward doing the voices of Batman and Robin

I pre-ordered this and, "The New Adventures of Superman 2 &3", which finishes up what was started years ago with the first Superman volume. I don't know why it took so long for Warners to put out the 60s Batman Filmation cartoons. I have the 1977 (or so), "The New Adventures of Batman", which featured Bat-Mite... I couldn't get through the whole set, it was so bad, primarily because of Bat-Mite.

I celebrated this news by watching (most of) the original DC Super-Heroes release (which has been re-released as two separate discs) which featured the filmation Teen Titans, Green Lantern, The Flash, Hawkman and the Justice League cartoons. Funny how they all had to have some type of sidekick (except the TT, of course!).

I think we are just missing the Superboy cartoons for a complete set of the 60s Filmation DC cartoons.

Yeah, TRDub and I hope we see those Superboy episodes soon. They were cheesy but I got a lot of fun out of them as a kid and still do when I catch them here and there.
