Arkham Asylum 13" Clayface figure

DCC just released pics of their upcoming Clayface figure (loosely) based on the game. He's 13" tall and exquisitely detailed with interchangeable Clayface/Joker heads and an axe attachment.
I don't care for the crystals on his back and he looks weirdly similar to the Abomination from the Incredible Hulk movie...easy pass for me.
I've added some pics below with a reference scale; what are your thoughts?

The crystals are damned odd. Clayface didn't have 'em in Arkham City.

I was going to say, those shards on the back look very strange. I wonder why they put those in? I don't remember them in the game, either.

Somebody on another board postulated that might be some crappy designer/sculptor's attempt at the ice effect from the freeze grenade Batman needs to use in his battle with Clayface. Whether it is or not, that thing is a huge mess...and not in the way it should be. Just because the character is supposed to look like **** doesn't mean the figure should be ****ty.
