DCC Arkham City Solomon Grundy

Does anyone have, or know someone who has, this figure? I am interested, but I wanted input first as to its durability. I almost bought the Killer Croc, but after all the stories of it breaking very easily, I passed. With such a large percentage of customers having this problem, one would think the more recently produced Solomon Grundy would be of better quality.

Although I don't have Grundy, I do have DCC Darkseid which is an awsome figure and even though its nicely sculpted and has nice articulation but if I wasn't able trade for it, I wouldn't buy it...there are some shoulder pad ball joints that are horrible so DON'T take them off for you'll be lucky to get them back on without breaking

None of these are worth $90 in my opinion

I agree on the pricing. I have options of substantial discounts at several local businesses. Only select Transformers Masterpieces can get me to go over $50 for a figure. If the quality level on the Grundy seems acceptable, I will probably get it at a reduced price. I tend to ignore most Amazon reviews, as they are often tainted by the customer's impression of the seller. That is why I am looking for input from knowledgeable and opinionated sorts here.

A while back, at a local comic shop, the clerk actually advised me against buying Croc, as his own broke out of the package. He said it was known to be a relatively widespread problem, and another customer in the store at the time said he had the same issue with his figure. Apparently, the plastic used in the limb connections is of a very inferior quality.

Oh yeah, tons of people have reported online that their Crocs broke. The thing is also too top heavy and topples over a lot (and then breaks) or breaks right out of the box when you take it out or it breaks when you try to move the joints. Here's a Youtube video of it.

I've been happy with mine but haven't had much time to play with him yet.

Grundy is great. He seems way more durable than Croc (mine was one of the few that didn't break, but I used a hairdryer on Croc after hearing all the horror stories), and looks awesome on the shelf. Right now all my other Arkham figures are still in tubs here in my office (haven't had time to paint my Batcave and build shelves yet here in our new house), but I have him next to Hugo Strange, and the scale is absolutely perfect.

Looking forward to the new Arkham arrivals, as I have a complete set so far.
