Nope, I still don't know them but they are classic. By time in the later part of the 90s and early 2000s I kinda stopped getting into bands, stuff was changing all around and it just wasn't as interesting for Me a sit was in the early/mid 90s.

OK, now I'm going to finish up with Metallica but I'm going to do it a little differently which this is going to be really fun. I'm going to post their music in wrestling. There's not a ton but I know most of it. First of all is arguably My fave of all. This was in 1999, I totally marked out the first time I heard this when Sting came out with this new theme in WCW  It was the newer live edition of Seek and Destroy by Metallica  My Grandparents really didn't know Metallica even though Me & Mom were huge Metallica fans. I was telling them all about'em. My Grandpa PoPo wasn't really interested but eventually My Grandma MiMi really liked them once I played her their great songs and she heard them enough. When it was all said & done her fave song was Until It Sleeps from Load and We'd listen to them in her Garfield Express many a time. WCW released Sting's new theme Seek and Destroy on the WCW Mayhem The Music CD that Showcased in My Vintage Wresting Collection Topic which is a great CD release. I was so thrilled that they included it on there :) Here's this great Sting & Metallica Tron of a really great time:)

More Wrestling with Metallica tomorrow ;)

Next up is the Memory Remains. I had already posted the official music video before. It's from Metallica's ReLoad Album which is still My favorite of every album they ever made. A few times before when the Undertaker would be walking backstage and stuff, they'd play it in the background and I always thought is was cool. It was a wise choice for the WWE to make this the official song for Wrestlemania 27 for a few reasons including that it's somebody that is great & well known. Here's this very cool video :!:

More in a while ;)

It's was cool seeing Sting come out to that in AEW.

Yes it was indeed :)

OK, next is a promo about WWE Wrestlmania 33 in 2017. In the video package they have some music I'm not familiar with then at 2:28 all of a sudden a new Metallica song plays, I was like that's Metallica...what is that from :o :?:

I then researched it and found out that it was from their new Album Hardwired...To Self-Destruct and I soon bought it. Here's the official music video to the song above called...Am I Savage...it's really good :)

I'm gonna feature a lot of this soon because it's a really a great fun Album :)

Okay, next they included Metallica's Spit Out The Bone on the WWE 2K19 Soundtrack from their Hardwired To...Self-Destruct which was very cool that they did that :)

Here's the official music video :)

More soon :)

I don't listen to much recent music so I haven't heard any of Metallica's newer stuff. That wasn't bad. Interesting video. Can't say I recall noticing it in the WWE game. My son had that one but I don't think he played it much--he's more into shooter games like Fortnite or Minecraft.

Heard this on the radio this morning while driving to hockey practice. Now, I'm the farthest thing from a Deadhead, but I remember seeing this video on MTV when I was a kid. I always liked a lot of the lyrics. Even when Jerry Garcia died on 1995 I think this was still the only Grateful Dead song I was familiar with.

Oh I don't either but when Metallica is involved I'm all ears. Most of the time for years WWE picks these songs from groups that I don't know and I'm like Image and then I;m like why don't you pick somebody that I know or at least that is well known that's been around for a couple decades and that doesn't sound a like.

Well maybe your son will get into the game later, it's one of the best wrestling games ever with such a great roster ;) Shooters are great too especially FPS, My fave genre in gaming :)

I never got into The Grateful Dead much, that was a good song & video there :)

Okay, next is what WWE did about NXT Takeover XXX/NXT Takeover 30 during of all years of 2020 :!: Gosh I loved this event, it was arguably the best NXT Takeover ever despite there was little to no crowd :o

This was very surprising because not only was Metallica's new song the theme for the event which I'll get to that in time (it briefly plays at the end of the video you'll see in a moment) but they featured Metallica's Frantic from their totally fun St. Anger Album (I already spotlighted that here within this topic) in this really cool video package of Karrion Kross challenging Keith Lee for the NXT Championship  It was apropos because Kross says Tick-Tock...Hetfield says Tick-Tock too in the song :o When you see the video look at the bottom left, they show the album very briefly. Oh man this was really exciting for Me :)

Okay, so continuing from My last post, (if you didn't see that epic one make sure you do!) here's the NXT Takeover 30 - NXT Takeover XXX theme. It was truly the best NXT show theme they ever used and quite frankly one of the best themes they used of the kind for any PPV/PLE in the modern era IMO. This Metallica song is called "Moth Into Flame" :!: It's one of THE funnest songs I've ever heard, I've listened to this as much as their classic stuff I mean it's that darn good :)

Here's the official music video of "Moth Into Flame". When I saw them play clips of it during NXT hyping up the event, I was just flipping out. When My Grandma was watching NXT with Me, she was a bit surprised as well ;) Gosh I just love this. The band looks so good here but James Hetfield looks great and he's as dynamic as ever :)

Here's this NXT Takeover XXX/NXT Takeover 30 promotional video package with Metallica's "Moth Into Flame"...this was so darn radical :)

Here's a special bonus with NXT Champ Keith Lee and his challenger Karrion Kross :!:

As a second bonus here's how the graphics were when they were hyping up the show with this super fun song :)

Well, we were talking about Young Guns and Young Guns II and man, this song still sounds great. I'm not the biggest Bon Jovi fan since there were rumors years ago he was with a group trying to by the Buffalo Bills and move them to Toronto, and his 2016 Presidential endorsement, but I'll still listen to certain songs if they're on the radio.

Yes, I recall that, it was an excellent music video for Young Guns that Jon Bon Jovi did :) I hope you listened to Moth Into Flame, it's such a superbly fun song not to mention how it was the theme for NXT Takerover 30 :) Unfortunately that was it for the super exciting NXT stuff and wrestling with Metallica stuff but I'm not done with Hardwired To...Self-Destruct as there is even more fun here :o Arguably My fave of the whole huge album is Dream No More :!: I love how they did this. Much earlier on within the Topic I said about how clever Metallica is by making sequels to their songs like The Unforgiven I, II & III for example and how End of the Line was a cryptic sequel to Master of Puppets. Well, they did it again with Dream No More...it's actually a cryptic sequel to Call of Ktulu/Call of Ctulhu :o I thought this was astounding how they did that. Remember in the Monster of the Day Topic for Halloween I posted about H.P. Lovecraft's Ctulu and I revealed about Metallica's early song and their connection :?: Well they have a connection with Lovecraft. Now in this really cool music video James Hetfield looks really good, just as good as he did in Moth Into Flame. However not once do they show the creature, the whole thing is about the madness...if you know monster then you'll understand the lyrics...CTULHU AWAKEN :!: :!: :!:

Here's this special live concert video of Metallica at the Legacy Arena at BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama on January 22, 2019...5 years ago this year
