I never saw that moment with the Rock but that's the real beginning of his ascension. There's no Rock without that heel turn.

Okay, the next entry maybe obvious. Here's Mark Henry. I'm not entering Sexual Chocolate as we already posted about him but I may make an exception about his theme later.

So here's before he became a wrestler. He's becoming "The World's Strongest Man" going for Bill Kazmaier's record which I've shpwn him before when he was in WCW





Now as "The World's Strongest Man", he entered the Federation with little hype as he was one of the many newcomers in 96.His first feud was with Jerry "The King" Lawler




After rehabing from injury and to tuning up, he returned and this is how Mark Henry became a member of The Nation of Domination

More that I'd never scene. Mark Henry was already with the NOD as far as I remember. I knew about his past, though. Amazing how he turned into such a badass eventually after doing the sexual chocolate stuff. Plus he lost some of the weight which made him look more like a beast.

This I do remember seeing back then though I didn't really know much about any of who they were at the time. I'd know idea who Ron Simmons or Rocky Maivia really were at the time.

How about that Darby Allin. I always thought is a mistake renaming Simmons, he was Simmons again till much later. Well what was next for Faarooq was he became an Acolyte with Bradshaw which I've already posted before.

So, you might know what is coming next, before I go there, I must show this. After Pillman passed away, The Hart Foundation...Bret, Neidhart & Bulldog were WCW bound, Owen wasn't far behind right Wrong. Even though there were rumors of him going to WCW, he stayed in the WWF and became "The Black Hart" Owen Hart He was arguably the greatest talent that was never a world champion, so misused and he never get's mentioned enough Unfortunately like The Ultimate Warrior & The Renegade, he too he a passing anniversary...it was 25 years in 1999 Here's this iconic promo of his in December of 1997, notice his short hair. I commented a bit on Owen in the theme section because I got there first. I think he was also already with NOD by the time I was watching regularly. He became a bit more of a side act with the whole I am not a nugget schtick. It's a shame he was gone too soon because he could've been at the top of the card with some dream matches. Vs Jericho, Eddie Guerrero, Benoit, etc. Those could've been matt classics. But they killed him doing a comedy schtick. I actually like the Blue Blazer gimmick, but it never should've gone as far as it did without taking better precautions. He really was gone way too soon. If Ric Flair could wrestle in his late 50s there's no reason to think Owen wouldn't have still been wrestling today other than he may've retired to be with his family (also very likely).

That was a great time between Owen Hart & The Dynamite Kid. Very, very few things in wrestling over the last couple of decades could touch that IMO. I know, a match with CM Punk, AJ Styles & Seth Rollins would be epic. There is much he could've done with the future. Such a shame Vinnie Mac, Vic Venom & Oklahoma put Owen through that They never thought of the future but really not once did I ever think they ever cared Owen was so much better that, IMO he's way better than many if today's talents. Yeah, if guys like Billy Gunn & Sting can go strong in their 60s, it wouldn't be no prob for Owen, he was so superb Speaking of Sting. Here's this. I don't think I will ever post any video of the Blue Blazer, I always hated it ever since Owen's tragedy I might do his theme though, it was pretty good. So, here's how Owen became a member of the Nation of Domination Notice that Kama is turning into the Godfather as well.

I was actually enjoying the Blue Blazer stuff Owen was doing at that time. I thought it was entertaining and at least he was doing something. I assumed it was going to lead somewhere but we sadly never found out where.
