Oh my God! It's the Karl Gotch of wrestling sections, step inside to catch all the latest on everything else from the defunct to Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes to Rip Rogers, the Nature Boy to the Natural Born Thrillers to the National Treasure. Vince Russo says, bro, this is the place to be, bro.
The problem with them and the other factions were they were just generic looking gangs. I couldn't even name anyone besides Savio Vega that was in this group. And with DOA, I think I know a couple names but not totally sure. At least the NOD when evolved and the members stood out more. Especially when the Rock got involved. I just didn't find the other factions that unique or interesting. Which is why I think they quickly faded.

Wow, it's something hearing Ron Killings (that's his real name believe it or not) in TNA. When he became R-Truth in the WWE he basically just tweaked that theme because it's really similar. I really preferred it when he was a maniac gangsta type of guy instead of a delusional comedy act that he's been for so long now
Oh I see where your coming come from PB. I only knew a tiny of the Boricuas besides Vega but I knew DOA because they were so many other personas before even though Crush was alwasy Crush, he went through many transformations over the years. I think it was like that with The Nation because they were first and they developed right before your eyes. Here's The NOD's theme that is on WWF The Music Vol. 2. Note that all four main members in the thumbnail. I think the theme is really good, seems a bit simpler without PG-13's singing however. I've always liked that humming sound in the background

Yeah, that's the group I remember. That was a simple song but it worked for them. I like R-Truth doing the comedy stuff. At some point you gotta realize you're never really going to reach the top of the card and find some way to stay relevant. And comedy always works. His stuff with Little Jimmy and John Cena always made me laugh. He actually has the same birthday as me (Pat Patterson and Tyler Breeze too!). Even the stuff with the Miz in recent years was good. Plus, the dude never ages. He looks the same as he did 20 years ago. Wish I knew his secret. R-Truth is a national treasure.

Yes, their very recognizable. R-Truth is something and his Awesome Truth Them is good. How about that, I did not know that you shared your B-Day with them greats...congrats Packer
Here's the cool NOD Theme sometimes used with the NOD including Mark Henry

Yep, he did for a while. Mark Jindrak was one of the many newcomers in WCW in it's last days like AJ Styles. He was good and so was his theme. There's plenty more of The Natural Born Thrillers to do PB
Here's this version of the NOD as this is one of the first times the "Better Know Your Role" occurred

It's sad, by the time I got back in Owen was being used more as a comedy act, probably because of Bret leaving. It's a shame he didn't get longer run in the Attitude Era. Owen vs Jericho could've been something.

Yes, there was a lot of great stuff that Owen did way before that PB. 94 & 95 is really when he shined. That match would have been excellent Chris Jericho's Theme is great. It was on WWF the Music Vol. 4. Here's The Rock's 1st theme as it was on WWF the Music Volume 3 and yes, I'm done with Vol 2.
Tomorrow I have one more post for Owen Hart.
