Both of those are expertly made!!! Love EL!

My question is what kind of sealant do you use? The one I used before from my LCS leaves a nasty white residue on them now and my most recent one is a very glossy "Kamar Varnish" from Krylon...

Hey, guys, thanks.

As to questions...

For paints I use acrylic Model Masters (because it's relatively cheap and readily available at several local craft stores) and Citadel paints because they have a wider variety of colors at a local hobby shop my mother-in-law always gives me a nice gift certificate for at Christmas that usually gets me through the year for paints (still have a little over $12 for this year!).

For a sealant, I used Testor Dullcote (or Glosscote for glossy looks). I've never actually tried anything else because I've never had an issue with it and you can get a 1 oz. can for like $3 at Hobby Lobby or a little more anywhere model car sets are sold.

On to the next custom, just need to find an angle...

Packerbacker Customs Been Around the Blok a Time or Two pg.

Postby packerbacker180 » Tue Sep 20, 2016 1:20 pm

Was commissioned to make a second version of Blok. Was a lot easier he second time since I had a better idea on how to sculpt the head. Still, took a lot of work to remodel a DCUC Lead figure.

Blok, looks fantastic and I really think the eyes and the vivid colors really stands out and I like the way you sculpted him.

Nicely Done and did a great job with it ... PB! :)

Wow! Easily one of the best and most accurate Blok customs I've ever seen.
