Batman Beyond might work as an armored figure for the Classics line but that might be it.
Manta could work too but no need for him.
The rest can rot.

If these stay at 9.99, as promised, I'll be picking them up for my kids, and pilfering the accessories they'd lose anyway.

I think this wasn't a bad idea for Mattel - cheaper price point, aimed at kids, mom-friendly, relaunch - I just wish they had extended DCUC online only or something. Even if they did waves of 2 or 3 pack with a repaint; I think there are plenty of folks joining in late who still want a WW or Superman or Robin, and plenty of repaints or slight re-dos that many of us would buy (GA for example).

Yeah and I think $10 for a 6 inch figure with tons of accessories to a parent is an easier pill to swallow than $10 for a 3.75" figure with close to zero accessories.

Hi everyone!

AcidDragon asked me to come over here and post some of my reviews on the site. Just this past week I got the Total Heroes Batman delivered to me. While I definitely realize that these guys are in a different style (and slightly different scale) than the DCUC/ Unlimited lines, I really like the figure. I think you'll be surprised by how much articulation is actually present on the figure. Here's the link to my review: http://www.thepicreview.com/2014/01/action-figure-review-batman-from-dc.html

I'll try and answer any questions, too!

Good review BBQ...I've never been a fan of the cheaper looking figures but I like others will be picking them up just for the accessories.

If I can't use any of the figures, they'll be on the trading table...
I am one of the 63%....

Yes, I'm loving Batman's accessories. The grapple gun is just an awesome accessory to have.

I do hope this line diversifies a bit, though. I really want to see more Bat-villains, because let's be honest- they tend to sell.

I can understand this line not being for everybody, and it definitely doesn't replace DCUC (nor was it intended too), but personally I really like it. It's nice looking affordable (hopefully) line that I can collect relatively stress free.

Nice pics, CG. Thanks for sharing! You know I was just going to strip them for accessories but after seeing these cool pics and BBQ's review, I might just keep them now once I get them.

Within the last week, I have picked up Aquaman and The Flash and while they have their flaws, I like both figures, especially The Flash. If the price stays at $9.99, I will definitely pick & choose through the line. I will pick up Batman next, when I find him, but Superman is a no go. With the upcoming Bizarro, maybe there is hope down the line for a more iconic Superman. I would love to see a JLA cartoon based on these figure designs! It could be a nice equivalent to the Avengers cartoon.
