Pro Wrestling Topics!

Oh my God! It's the Karl Gotch of wrestling sections, step inside to catch all the latest on everything else from the defunct to Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes to Rip Rogers, the Nature Boy to the Natural Born Thrillers to the National Treasure. Vince Russo says, bro, this is the place to be, bro.

I just can't watch WWE anymore. Even NXT now. It was the same way when TNA was half decent a decade ago, TNA was the only thing I watched. I just couldn't sit through the WWE product, and it's pretty much the same way now. I'm not saying everything AEW does is great, but everything WWE just seems so half-hearted and formulaic. Homogenized might be a good word for it. Even UE just feels blah these days. Even putting wrestlers in the crowd to make noise feels produced. In AEW it seems like they're having fun whereas in the E it just feels like they're there because they have to be. I don't know how else to better explain it, it just feels different.

Have you caught Impact lately? I've been told that it's actually good now by multiple sources but I haven't watched any of it. At the moment, I'm just watching older stuff from the territories and material from the Monday Night Wars.

I've watched it in parts. It's a little better than in past years, but it's still not something I can usually get through two hours of. They still need more talent. Maybe some of the WWE releases can find a home there.

You'd hope, but they let Impact sign Deonna Purrazzo, who's a really good worker that the AEW women's division could desperately use. She'd be a great Shida challenger, it would've been the best women's match in the company's history, I think.

I still think you gotta check out that Riddle/Thatcher match. That was really something special and different. I kinda want Thatcher to win the NA title and only defend it in that cage.
